We had a blast at the stat fair. Alaska's state fair is known for it's fruit and vegetables contest. Because the days are long during the summer things seem to get really, really big!... I think that watermelon was as big as caiden! I know the pumpkin was twice as big! Crazy but really neat!
The state fair had a lot of fun rides. We went with the cousins and Kaebs little friend Joselin. Caiden is right between the bigger and littler rides... He went on a few of the big rides with the older cousins but I think he enjoyed the smaller ones a little more! Caiden is holding on to dear life on this roller coaster with his cousins, micheal, hanna, and daren. When he got off he said it was way to loud!

Their was a fun petting zoo.... the little animals were so cute!
Kaebs didn't get to close but Caiden like to pet them! They had lots of other animals to see... there was an enormous pig... ready to deliver her piglets any minute.. I actually felt bad for her. The kids loved seeing the animals!
What are the kids waiting for?
The racing pigs! this was hilarious! They would race these pigs around a small track and the winner would race the next set of pigs! the kids thought this was great! Every now and then I will hear Caiden say to kaebs at home.."lets play racing pigs..." Then they run around the couches... It is funny! I think this was the highlight of the fair!
