Wow, it has been a while since I have posted.... so I have a lot to write about!
This past Thanksgiving Leisl (my little sister) came to KY to have Thanksgiving with my small family. We had a total Blast! She came from BYU and she caught up on some sleep from the late nights at college! (I thought BYU had a curfew?!) The kids had so much fun and I took advantage of an extra hand!
We started out Thanksgiving by doing the annual YMCA Turkey Day Family Run. It was 6 miles. We had so much fun.... It was nice to run with my sister and catch up on things. It also felt really good to get in a good run before engorging ourselves with food the rest of the day!

We were going to do Thanksgiving dinner at our house but at the last minute we ended up going over to a friends house (thanks becky!)
silly sisters... can you see the resemblance? I was always told I was adopted or came from the milk man!

The Day after Thanksgiving it was beautiful and warm. We went over to Indiana to Clifty Falls. There were plenty of places for waterfalls but at this time of year the water was just trickling off. The spring and early fall would be beautiful here! This was the outlook tower on the Ohio river. It was a metal platform about 30 or so feet high... Leisl and I were a little scared! But the view was awesome!

Going from one hike to another! I love Kaebrii's cheeser!

By one of the waterfalls! Come on Jon smile, you know you are having fun!

There was a tunnel at one of the stops. You can actually walk through it... I would recommend bringing a flash light. We decided to go through with out one and we bonked a few heads and stepped in a few puddles. It was a couple hundred yards long.

After thanksgiving we got a real tree! and I talked Leisl in helping me decorate it! I love real trees! They smell so good! In the morning the kids came downstairs and they were amazed at the tree. They looked at all the different ornaments... It was so fun to see their excitement! I had to get some christmas pictures by the tree.... we happened to match to! Grandma Stanna sent Kaebrii her cute christmas dress and I couldn't resist getting caiden something too!

Sisterly love.....

Jon loves it when I mention pictures.... We were all ready for church so I couldn't resist.... this ended up being our christmas card picture!

We had so much fun with Leisl.... Thanks for coming out and spending Thanksgiving with us!
We are staying in KY for Christmas this year. It will be quiet, but we are excited to start some of our own little family traditions. Caiden is excited for Christmas and he is understanding Santa this year! It will be fun!
