Christmas a month later!

So I am a month behind! We had a wonderful Christmas! It was our first Christmas as a little family here in Louisville, KY!
It was fun to start some new traditions with the kids!
Christmas eve we watched the nativity, opened our 1 gift (pj's!), and set out a plate of cookies, milk for santa and carrots for the reindeer. Caiden was so excited... As you can tell by the santa picture that he actually enjoyed santa this year!
Caiden knew that Santa was going to bring him lots of toys.... because he was good boy! On the other hand Kaebrii (with her pouty-frowning face) did not like santa at all this year!!! This was the real thing!!! Santa was great at Bass Pro Shop in TN!

Caiden woke up bright n' early on Christmas morning... he ran to our bed and said.."mommy, did santa come... I think I heard the reindeer!" It was so fun to have Caiden so into it this year!!! Christmas is a blast with kids!

Caiden holding his platypus and set of monkeys he asked Santa for.... He got the Disney Cars speedway 500 racetrack from santa also!!! it was and still is a big hit for him, Kaebrii and all of his friends!
Kaebrii and mom.... Kaebrii didn't care about any of the presents... She found candy and that is all she wrote.... She wouldn't put it down for anything!!! Santa brought Kaebrii a vacuum and bracelets!

Caiden and one of his many gifts!... a new golf set!

kaebrii cheesing with her new dolly from grandma Stanna!
We are so blessed! We missed our family this Christmas season... but enjoyed having our own little Christmas! Santa didn't miss us in good ol' Kentucky!

We had Christmas dinner at the wilkes... with the romriells too! Thank you for a great dinner!!!
New Years was a party!! The Phinney's from our old ward invited us over.... The kids had a blast playing with their decked out play kitchen and then it was time for bed!! the little ones went down as the adults actually sat down and played a game... The company and food were great!! Thanks phinneys for always being such great hosts!!!
