Living in Alaska you have to get out of the state at least once in the winter. This past end of Jan. we went to Oahu, (north shore) Hawaii for a week as a family. We had a blast! The Sun was wonderful and our pasty white bodies needed some vitamin D!!! We went to the zoo, played at the beach, swam in the ocean, snorkeled, went to the Oahu temple, the pineapple factor, and play at the beach some more! We just relaxed! It was a great vacation and I am sure it will turn into a yearly event for our family!
