It is not an uncommon thing to see alot of wildlife in Alaska! We have seen alot this summer from a lynx, moose, black bear in my parents yard, to mountain sheep, eagles, brown bear, bunnies, geese, ptarmigan and lots more! We love the natural but fun zoo here in Anchorage also! Here are a few of the animals we have gotten on camera!
A few moose hanging out by the hiking trail.

Two moose up close and personal in the yard!

This one was checking out the toys!

This bull and baby was hanging out by the airport...

Grandma stanna wanted a picture of an eagle... my camera is such a piece that the best picture I could get was the injured one at the zoo! :(

A reindeer in Whittier, AK. I promise that Santa's reindeers don't look like this one!

There are a lot of ducks and geese in the lakes here!

Some bird at potters marsh! It is a fun board walk around a bird and animal sanctuary

This black bear is our pet... we forgot to shut the garage door and my mom went into the garage for something and she came running right back in when she went around her car and was a couple feet from this black bear. he had lifted up the door on the deep freeze and gotten a bag a frozen berries out he had also dragged a bag of garbage out by the front steps....

This happen at the beginning of the summer... lets just say Caiden was a little timid of playing outside for a while.....

A mountain sheep taking its time to cross the road while jon was driving up here.

This is a hard picture but if you squint real hard you can see two little black dots... anyways those are two little black bears crossing the river after their mom. they were not very far from us while we were fishing on the river.

We have also seen a lot of brown bear while we have been fishing. One came down behind us about 20 yards down the river... They are fun to see from a distance but I don't want to get to close!
