Today before Jon left to school Caiden ran up to give him a hug and a kiss. Then he turned to Jon (Daddy) and said; "Daddy is that your dentist car?" As he pointed to Jon's saturn.... Jon just laughed and said; "I hope not... It needs a lot of work..." Which would be nice if it was a mouth.
Now some background on Jon's saturn so this all makes sense.... he has had the saturn before we were married seven years ago and it was used then. Since then it has turned into his window washing car... scratched everywhere. The side view mirror was hit off at the dental school - without a note left. Now making it really loud when driving from the wind, and when it rains the floor of the passenger side is a swimming pool... we haven't yet figured where it comes from. The roof cover is coming apart and now sags down in places. The windows are automatic... yeah, they come down on their own... no one needs to touch a thing. The reverse lights are burnt out. and the muffler is hanging on by a wire! BUT it has a bran new engine (by the mechanics fault...) and runs decent.... We just have to check the oil and fluids every time the engine light comes on!
It is fun to have school cars because you know there will be an end soon!!! We are grateful we haven't had to have a car loan this far while we have been through undergrad and dental school!

Unless you're like us and keep the school car until the end of time. (Knock on wood, the Saturn is still going!) Because new cars cost money.
