Jon had his fall break this past weekend (Oct. 31-
nov 4) and one of my things to do before we leave Kentucky was to go to Red River Gorge. We have been here almost 7 years and have never gone to red river gorge or the natural bridge. We got a late start on
monday morning but decide to beat the sun and do a quick day trip. It was well worth it!!! We hit the beautiful fall leaves at the perfect time. With no map or anything we just kept driving. The leafs were so amazing! Sorry about all of the pictures but I couldn't resist... I knew our beautiful fall was coming to an end soon and KY isn't very pretty in the winter! :)

We found a cool hole in a tree but
Caiden didn't really think so at the moment. He was throwing a little bit of a fit....
Kaebrii strutting off her stuff going up the trail.... She is so funny!
Caiden found a cave that daddy and
kaebrii climbed in with him.

This was the first arch we hikes to it was pretty but did not compare to natural arch as you will see.... This other picture was taken as we were drive around the gorge.
Caiden and
kaebrii staying close as we were on the edge of a look out without a fence... but we would never tell the grandmas that...
Well worth it.... this was the view of the natural bridge from the lookout.

Jon taking in the
view...

Myself and the kids under the natural bridge.....

To get on top of the natural bridge you had to go up skinny stairs and then a 20 ft. or so small space
in between the rocks... I barely fit through with the backpack on.

Our family on top of the Natural Bridge

Natural Bridge in the gorgeous fall colors!!
