The Haul to Alaska!!

Jon and his dad did the grueling haul from Layton Utah to Anchorage AK!!! I am so glad that I took the kids on the airplane... they only took 4 days to do the trek. NO break downs and all went well. So very scenic but a very very long drive. Part on the drive was on a dirt road and we have proof because everything that is by the doors of the trailer is dusty!!! We are glad they made it safe! I wish I could say that the trailer is empty but no... we are living out of it...meaning our stuff is still squished inside and if I need anything I have to go searching!

They had a huge load with the truck and a 21 foot trailer. the trailer was crammed full along with the bed of the 0f truck and the back seat....
They made it through the Canadian border with no problems... yea! (I don't think they were expecting any.)

The lake was still frozen in the beginning of June! For about 200 miles they had to drive on this dirt road!

you would think they were almost there but nope.... another 600 miles to go...

To say the least they made it in one piece! It was a long but beautiful haul!! I don't think they plan on driving it again any time soon!
